‘REFLECTIONS ‘-JCA
Behind the scenes at the Jimmy
Choo Academy’s latest show, Reflections, the backstage
buzzed with artistic fervour as beauty teams crafted looks under the expert
guidance of Mandy Gakhal and Narad Kutowaroo, the show’s hair
and makeup leads. Amid the hum of brushes and styling tools, models were
transformed into embodiments of the show’s theme—introspection and innovation.

The beauty aesthetic captured a harmonious
balance of minimalism and impact. Model’s skin radiated with a fresh, dewy
glow, achieving a flawless, clean finish that exuded modern elegance. Brows
were sculpted naturally but given just enough definition to frame the face with
subtle strength. Eyes were understated, with lashes gently coated in mascara
for a soft, fluttery effect that whispered sophistication.

The look’s pièce de résistance was the red lip,
a statement of empowerment and confidence. Precisely applied to a natural lip
line, the vibrant shade provided an audacious pop of colour, commanding
attention on the catwalk and perfectly complementing the show’s minimalist yet
striking aesthetic.

Beyond the artistry of beauty, the event
itself celebrated the fusion of fashion and innovation. This collaboration
underscores JCA’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next wave of
trailblazing talent, blending artistic vision with a robust foundation in
entrepreneurial education. Together, JCA and Berkeley’s St James
Group are reshaping the landscape of fashion education, equipping
designers to revolutionize the industry and drive impactful change.

As the models took to the runway, they
brought to life not just garments, but the transformative power of artistic
ambition and the Academy’s vision for the future of fashion.
